All competition at this show are governed by these regulations and by the Agricultural Societies Council
of NSW Rules for Discipline in Horse Sections at Shows.

Should it become necessary for the ASC Disciplinary Committee to open an inquiry into any aspect of competition in this Horse Section, this Society will support any penalty imposed by that Committee as a result of the inquiry and will support penalties resulting from enquiries arising from Horse Sections at other NSW shows.

The Horse Committee will take all care in managing the Section, but competitors taking part in this Horse Section do so at their own risk.

(Electronic waivers to be filled out online with Property Identification Codes (PIC). PIC No. can be obtained from the Local Land Service website.

Nominate will issue an entry number issued which must be printed out by the entrant and used on the day as proof of class entries and for results.​

NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON THE DAY - EXCEPT FOR THE SHOWJUMPING - Entries will be taken as usual at the Showjumping Area.

Anyone without a number issued by nominate will have to fill in a Waiver and receive a Wristband.

Rules and Regulations​

  1. The Committee reserves the right to substitute, alter or delete without notice, any event on the programme.

  2. The LOCAL AREA has been defined as the Blayney Shire

  3. For local events horses or riders are those who reside in the Blayney Shire or are active members of the Carcoar Pony Club.

  4. Only competitors actually taking part in an event will be allowed in the ring.

  5. The start of events will not be unreasonably delayed for competitors taking part in other events

  6. Perpetual trophies will remain the property of the Show Society AND stay with the Society.

  7. In all Breed Classes, horses must be registered with appropriate Breed Societies and papers MUST be provided if requested.

  8. Pony Club riders are to be in full Pony Club uniform with the approved safety helmet and horses are to be
    shown in snaffles. No bit and bradoons permitted. Pony Club Rules will be respected.

  9. There must be two (2) entries in classes before a Champion Ribbon will be awarded OR at the
    Judge’s discretion.

  10. Entry Tickets are definitely NOT refundable

  11. All riders must compete in headgear suitable for the event.

  12. Horses can compete in either the Hack or Hunter Classes but NOT in both.

  13. Drug testing may be carried out at this Show. Any competitor found to have breached the ASC
    disputes and disciplinary regulations will be investigated by the ASC Disciplinary Committee.

STALLIONS: Official discs signifying a stallion must be displayed on both sides of the horse at all
times. Stallions must be suitably restrained at all times by a person over the age of 17 years. Must
wear a collar and be securely tied to a truck or trailer and supervised at all times. Such vehicle must
display an official magnet giving notice that a stallion is on board. Stallions are NOT permitted to
compete in Hack, Riding or Turnout Classes specific stallion Breed Classes may be exempt. Stallions may be substituted in prize-giving ceremonies with another horse should the rider deem it to be safer.

RIDER MINIMUM AGE- 5 YEARS OLD.

PRIZE MONEY AND TROPHIES ONLY VALID FOR 5 DAYS AFTER SHOW.

ENTRY TO SHOWGROUND IS NOT INCLUDED IN CLASS ENTRIES
